The Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Educational and Counselling Psychology Society (BECPS) serves as the governing body that leads the society’s mission to advance educational and counselling psychology throughout Bangladesh. Elected every two years by the general members during the Annual General Meeting, the committee comprises dedicated academics, researchers, clinicians, and practitioners who voluntarily steer the organization with vision, integrity, and professional excellence.


Responsible for policy formulation, program development, research promotion, training initiatives, ethical standard-setting, and advocacy in education and mental health sectors, the Executive Committee works tirelessly to bridge theory and practice, empower psychology professionals, and contribute to national well-being. Representing diverse institutions and regions, the committee ensures inclusive growth while upholding BECPS’s core values of evidence-based practice, collaboration, and social responsibility. It remains the driving force behind every conference, workshop, publication, and outreach activity that strengthens the psychology community in Bangladesh.
